HISTORY

“SiBon” as a legend was born in1950 with Georges Maalouf, and grew with his dreams, ambitions, and culinary efforts until the brand and company were founded by his son, Rony, 57 years later. In 1975 Georges launched his first factory specialized in ice cream production and launched the “One Way” brand.

In 1980, a second “One Way” factory location was established in Jisr el-Bacha. In 1990, “One Way” had the first automatic production line of Italian ice cream in Lebanon. In 2005, a third factory was founded in Mkalles.

And later in 2007, Rony Georges Maalouf, who graduated with a degree in Food and Science Management from the American University of Beirut, opened the first SiBon pastry shop.
